The Forum has been re-opened after a week of what looks like freedom from spam. To register you will need the key on this (the PCA home) page. (13Jan08)

The forum is currently locked, and has been for quite a few weeks; sorry for lack of progress on this. As provided on the hosting service the version is out of date and lacks security; this has allowed many web crawlers to request registrations, which results in lots of unwanted adverts in the members list. An update to the software is available and will be applied, together with additional security measures, in the next few weeks. (1Nov07)

The Sea People magazine no. 67 was posted out on 3 July, together with the 2006 Yearbook. The posting includes a reminder for members who have not yet renewed subscriptions for this year! (8Jul07)

The new PCA forum has now been activiated. To make posts you need to register, which simply means signing up to the conditions for posting. We will get various areas set up in the forum as needed - and will bring back the "Ditty Bag" too. The new forum is linked from all the "new format" pages in the navigation box to the left. We now have a fix for the photo gallery, to bring all the pictures into a state where maintenance can be done properly by the webmasters, but it will take a week or two to do this to all the albums. Unfortunately this means we will lose the count of numbers of views for each picture, but these are already building up again :-) on the albums that have already been fixed. (27May07)

If you are a regular visitor to the site you will notice that we are in the process of tidying up the pages. Please be patient - we will keep the content available in the old format until it has been converted. Depending on how much time we have :-) this may take a month or so! (22May07)

The PCA forum has been causing problems for a while - new people have not been able to register. We are trying a new forum and it will be linked in once it is set up properly. (22May07)

The Picture Gallery had been causing access problems but this has been fixed. There are still a few jobs to do to complete tidying this up but it will hopefully get done soon. (22May07)
