Robert Sheridan

Robert is a past treasurer of the PCA. SeaLark is a Hinemoa based in Chichester Harbour on the South Coast of the UK.

Sealark was modified in 2000 and is now 13 feet wide and has 2 aluminium beams. Below is a picture or her being taken apart, the bow and stern netting beams were returned and the two aluminium beams have been mounted in substantial iroko chocks fore and aft of the cabin.

Sealarks new deck being fitted

She has also been converted to a Tiki rig and has a solid central deck with an outboard well and wet lockers in its centre. Below is a picture of her moored in Newtown creek on the Isle of Wight, note the dome tent on the centre deck and the sun shine :-).

Sealark at Newtown

Winter sailing in the Solent to test out the new beams, deck and rig before it is finished off, not the rather long beams.

Sealark after refit off Hayling Island

Most of Robert's offshore sailing has been in other peoples boats, but Sealark did a cross channel to Alderney in 2002 and prove her seaworthiness on the way back when beating into a force 5/6 with short seas.
